Standby Pass
Rules can change. Check the current information in the official app.
Standby Pass
A free service that gives you a time to join the line. It is not for attractions. It applies only to certain shops and character greetings.
You get it in the official app, and at the time shown you can join that venue's line. You can get it only after you enter the park.
As of the check date, it covers 4 shops at Tokyo Disneyland, 7 shops at Tokyo DisneySea, and 2 character greeting entries at Tokyo DisneySea (Miguel at Lost River Delta, until 13:00 and from 13:30). 3 more Tokyo DisneySea shops are added from Nov 2, and 4 more Tokyo Disneyland entries and 1 more Tokyo DisneySea shop from Nov 10. Some shops need it only for certain items, such as capsule toys or name engraving. Targets and periods change, so check the official list.
One park ticket covers one person. Children 3 and under do not need their own if the adult with them has one.
There is no daily limit. To get the same venue again, use the one you hold first or wait until its time has passed.
To get a pass for a different shop in a row, wait until the time on your pass arrives or 120 minutes after you got it, whichever is earlier. At least 60 minutes must have passed since your last one. Different types, such as a shop and a character greeting, can be taken back to back.
You cannot change the time. Cancel it in the app and get a new one. A cancelled pass cannot be restored, and depending on operations you may not be able to get another.
Standby Passes that are temporarily unavailable can become available again, so check the app through the day. Some days it starts without notice and some days it does not run.

Hong Kong Standby Pass
Hong Kong has a free Standby Pass. The checked applicability lists designated merchandise purchases. It lets you return to a queue at an assigned time and does not provide immediate boarding.
Experiences, dates and quotas can change. Playhouse in the Woods has allowed direct queuing without this pass since 28 October 2025. Tokyo reissue-time calculations are not applied here.
